Thank you for showing interest in our company. Valley Transportation Service, Inc. is a specialized carrier that delivers to all 48 states in the Continental US. Valley Transportation's main areas of operation are Iowa, Florida, Texas and California. Construction and agricultural equipment are the two main commodities we transport. Oversize loads make up 85% of our freight. Our equipment consists of 48 ft., air ride, step decks and 48 ft., double drop, RGN's (self loading) trailers.

The Dispatch Department, Permit Department, and Settlement Department are all located at the main office in Grand Meadow, MN. At Valley Transportation, you are assigned a dispatcher. Customer Service Managers work alongside the dispatchers and together they coordinate the driver's next load. We have trucks available and we are looking to expand our fleet. We offer competitive pay and use top-of-the-line equipment. Our trucks are equipped with APU's, built-in refrigerators and inverters. We also award our safe drivers with an annual driver safety & performance bonus. All in all, "It's your career, drive it!"

Driver Qualifications

  • - Must be at least 23 years of age
  • - Meet all Federal Motor Carrier Qualifications (FMSCR part 391)
  • - Have a valid Commercial Driver License with proper endorsements in state of residence and have no current license suspension or revocation. A work permit is never acceptable.
  • - No convictions for a "serious or disqualifying traffic violation" within the last three (3) years. (See FMCSR parts 382, 391, 392, and 397)
  • - No more than four (4) moving violations in the past 36 months, and no more than two (2) moving violations in the previous 12 months.
  • - Have no preventable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injuries treated away from the scene, or disabling damage to a motor vehicle within three years.
  • - A minimum of two (2) years verifiable experience.
  • - No more than three (3) jobs in the past three years.
- No driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs violations within the past five years.
