I have been with valley transportation for 4 years and we have great dispatchers. Mine knows his stuff and keeps us rolling , along with all the other staff in the office right down to permit guys and training personnel. Also our recruiter is top notch and don't sugar coat BS just to get you here... Plus we have good loads to haul keeping us busy ...yea I wrote a book because I really do think this.. Teamwork and Communication are key .. And even though I have only met and talked to brad ( owner) a few times he is always doing something to better the company for everyone involved ...
We load a fair amount of equipment to be moved for us and our customers. MOST trucking companies go in, load and never think of anything except moving that load. I want to explain that Valley Transportation goes ABOVE AND BEYOND what most trucking companies do! This morning we had one of their drivers loading a large crane for us to move to one of our yards. This VALLEY driver called to say he didn't see any water or antifreeze level at the radiator neck. MOST DRIVERS NEVER EVEN LOOK AT THE ENGINE NOT ALONE CHECK FLUIDS BEFORE LOADING!
KUDOS TO BRAD AND THE CREW FOR HAVING SUCH DRIVERS THAT ACTUALLY CARE FOR YOUR EQUIPMENT! A BIG THANKS TO RICK, THE DRIVER!
THANK YOU VALLEY TRANSPORTATION!

In April I will be starting my eighth year at Valley. When I started to look for a driving job I didn’t have a lot of experience, but Brad decided to give me a chance. Being fairly new too the trucking industry I had some problems here and there, but everyone was always patient with me , and was willing to answer my questions, and help me. I always liked the quote “you get out what you put in “ Give Valley an honest day work you get treated the same way back. Brad, my dispatcher Blayne, everyone in permits, the shop, and other office personnel are great to work with . Are there things I would like to see change ? Yes. But I’m sure there are some things Valley would like to see me change as well. The equipment is nice. The customers we haul for are good. I like the places I run,and I like working for my dispatcher. In closing, I like it here it’s a good fit for me, and I think anyone that starts here would like it to.
I have been here for a year and a half. I think I'll be here until I retire I love the freight and I stay busy my dispatcher, Tyler takes care of my needs as does all the office . Hats off to Jared and Erick they are great with permits. The customers we deal with are top notch. I've had a few come in on Sundays to off load me. Mike in recruiting is a no BS guy tells the truth. If anybody out there wants a top notch place to work, here it is all top notch equipment. Brad, the owner spares no money when it comes to drivers and equipment.
I have to say, this is a very great company to be employed by. I have been employed with Valley Transportation, only a short time but in that short time I have met some fantastic people. Everyone at Valley, makes you feel a part of their ever growing organization. Just like any company, you’ll have bad days, and good days, but here those bad days are few and far between. If your looking to change to a company, that welcomes you home; then this is it. The recruiters really sold the company to me, because they told me upfront, the good, the bad, and the ugly. That’s what any experienced driver wants is a transparent company. As long as you ask questions if you don’t know, and do what your supposed to safely, then you’ll fit right in.
If anyone has questions, you can reach out to me at anytime.
